Data Deletion Instructions

Businesses and authorized users can request the deletion or disconnection of Bazaarstreet Platform data associated with the Meta app, tenant onboarding records, and related messaging and operational data by following the instructions below.

How to request deletion

Send an email to app_admin@bazaarstreet.us with the subject line "Bazaarstreet Platform Data Deletion Request". Include the business name, the email address tied to the platform account, and enough detail for us to identify the account or integration to remove.

If the request is related to a Meta or WhatsApp connection, include the WhatsApp Business Account name, phone number, or any app-connected identifiers that will help us locate the relevant records.

If you are acting on behalf of a business, include your name, role, and enough information for us to verify that you are authorized to make the request.

What we can delete or disconnect

Depending on the request, Bazaarstreet may delete or disconnect workspace records, tenant onboarding records, WhatsApp connection metadata, local message records, contact records, notes, templates, or other tenant-linked operational data maintained in Bazaarstreet Platform.

Deletion of Bazaarstreet-held records does not automatically delete data held by Meta, WhatsApp, or other third-party systems. Those providers may require separate action by the business inside their own account settings.

Verification and processing

After we receive the request, we may ask for information necessary to confirm the identity and authority of the requester before deleting, disconnecting, or disclosing account-related data.

Once verified, we will process the request within a commercially reasonable timeframe based on the scope of the request and any technical or legal constraints that apply.

What may be retained

Some information may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, audit logging, backup rotation, or legal compliance.

If information must be retained for those purposes, the retained data will be limited to what is operationally required.

Meta-connected records

If your request concerns Meta-connected data, Bazaarstreet may remove onboarding session records, tenant mappings, callback records, and local messaging data associated with the app where applicable.

You may also need to remove or revoke the app from your Meta business settings to fully disconnect access on Meta's side.

Requests submitted through Meta

If Meta sends Bazaarstreet a valid data deletion callback, Bazaarstreet will record the request and generate a confirmation code that can be checked on this page.

The presence of a confirmation code means the request was received and recorded by Bazaarstreet Platform. It does not, by itself, mean every connected third-party record has already been deleted.
