Privacy Policy

Bazaarstreet Platform processes business account, onboarding, messaging, and support data so businesses can connect WhatsApp, manage customer conversations, and operate their workspace.

Information we collect

We collect account, business, workspace, and configuration information that businesses provide when they use Bazaarstreet Platform. This can include business names, staff contact information, workspace settings, WhatsApp Business Account identifiers, phone-number metadata, template settings, and support communications.

When a connected business uses messaging or appointment operations, we may also process customer-facing data such as message content, timestamps, sender identifiers, delivery status events, appointment requests, scheduling metadata, and related operational notes stored by the business.

We also collect technical and security information such as IP address, browser or device metadata, request logs, webhook payloads, callback records, and audit events needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

How we use information

We use the information we process to create and administer workspaces, onboard businesses, configure Meta and WhatsApp integrations, operate messaging and appointment workflows, maintain platform security, troubleshoot errors, and support app review and compliance requirements.

We may also use limited operational and technical data to improve reliability, monitor abuse, investigate incidents, measure product performance, and maintain internal records of actions taken inside the platform.

We do not sell business data or customer conversation data.

How we share information

We share information with service providers and infrastructure partners only as needed to operate Bazaarstreet Platform. This includes providers used for hosting, data storage, authentication, platform monitoring, and Meta-operated WhatsApp and onboarding flows.

If Bazaarstreet enables optional assistive automation features, the inputs and outputs needed to provide those features may be processed by the configured model or inference provider for that request.

We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce platform terms, protect the security of the service, investigate fraud or abuse, or respond to valid legal process.

Requests from public authorities

If Bazaarstreet receives a request from a public authority or other legal process seeking platform data, we review the request before responding and verify, where reasonably possible, that the request is legally valid and appropriately scoped.

Where appropriate, we may seek clarification or request that an overbroad request be narrowed before producing information.

If Bazaarstreet is legally required to disclose information, we aim to disclose only the minimum information reasonably necessary to comply and maintain internal records of the request, our response, and the basis for the disclosure.

Customer responsibilities and permissions

Each connected business is responsible for ensuring it has the right to use connected channels and to contact its customers through approved opt-in and policy-compliant messaging.

Business customers are also responsible for the accuracy of the information they submit, the lawfulness of their notices and consent flows, and the actions of their staff inside the workspace.

Retention and security

We retain platform data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, investigate misuse, and maintain records required for platform operations. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data, account status, and applicable legal requirements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect platform data. No system is perfectly secure, so connected businesses should avoid placing unnecessary sensitive information into messaging or scheduling operations.

Deletion and access requests

Requests related to account data, connected Meta records, or deletion of platform data can be submitted using the instructions on our Data Deletion page.

We may request information necessary to verify that the requester is authorized to act for the relevant business account before disclosing, deleting, or disconnecting data.

Policy changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product, operational, or legal changes. When we do, we will update the effective date shown on this page.
